Hire a Panamanian licensed lawyer:

  • Prepare a Power of Attorney and Application, addressed to the President of Panama, pursuant to Article 10 of the National Political Constitution.
  • Submit the documentation to the National Immigration Service.

Documentation Required:

  • Notarized Power of Attorney
  • Renunciation of current nationality
  • Expression of the desire to acquire Panamanian nationality
  • Application
  • Certification of Immigration Status
  • Copy of the permanent resident card authenticated by the Electoral Tribunal of Panama
  • Certificate of good health

  • Financial Solvency

Prove financial stability through employment letters, income tax returns, or bank statements. Include a Certificate of Good Standing from the Directorate of General Revenue.
